If new score measured before days elapsed, episode extended additional days, this process repeated as necessary. Each categorized mild (pain 0-3), moderate (4-6), (7-10) based initial score, could contribute multiple analysis. Descriptive statistics used quantify treatment during each patients’ episodes. The two most frequently occurring 0 (17%) 5 (13%), classified 43% 32% 25% severe. Significantly percentages certain (NSAIDs, opioid, duloxetine) both episodes, but less likely be increased (acetaminophen, OTC medications). Knee imaging, specialists all consistently significantly more occur versus (relative risk ratios 1.76, 1.25 1.35 vs respectively, 2.00, 1.44 1.46 <0.05). Conclusion: While generally recognized subjective measure influenced unmeasured factors can confounded effectiveness, it nevertheless primary symptom OA.
